Detailers often prefer thick, sticky foam over wet, runny foam.

However, some detailers, even if to a lesser extent, prefer runny, wet foam because its heavier consistency can help drag dirt down off
the vehicle's body panels, aiding in the removal of contaminants without the need for scrubbing.

Two Process Types:
In automotive detailing there are two main types of foaming:
A) Pre-Rinsing with Foam:
Purpose: The goal of pre-rinsing with foam is to loosen and lift surface dirt and grime before the main wash. This step helps reduce the risk of scratching the paint during the wash process.
Foam Characteristics: For pre-rinsing, a foam that clings well to the surface is ideal. This allows the cleaning agents time to work on breaking down contaminants.
Soap Types: Use a foam-specific pre-wash or snow foam soap.
This can be either Acidic for removing mineral deposits, water spots, and brake dust OR Alkaline which is more effective for heavy-duty cleaning, such as removing grease, oil, road tar or film.
These are formulated to produce thick, clingy foam that effectively loosens dirt without necessarily providing a high level of lubrication needed for direct washing.
B) Washing with Foam:
Purpose: The main wash involves using foam to directly clean the vehicle's surface after the pre-rinse has removed the majority of loose contaminants.
Foam Characteristics: For washing, the foam should be both lubricating and effective at suspending and removing dirt.
Soap Types: Use a high-quality pH-Neutral car wash soap designed for use with foam cannons. These soaps create rich, lubricating foam that helps safely lift and remove dirt while washing, minimizing the risk of scratching and being gentle on waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings.

Maintenance
Rinse with clean water after each use to prevent soap buildup.
Check the weighted ball for clogs, if 5-10ml of liquid escapes when tightening the cap, this is due to air pressure and lets you know the filter is not clogged.
Store in a cool, dry place to maintain component integrity.

Review
As you will see in the video review at the very bottom of this page, the foam that this cannon produces is industry leading.
Very thick with long dwell time. The cannon is easy to fill with soap and water due to the large opening at the top.
The wide bases is very stable. It looks to be quite durable and is servicable with readily available parts.
I particularly like the clear bottle and blue/white colorway. The very flexible silicon tube with weighted ball makes it easy to use
held at any angle such as when foaming the roof and underbody.
I do not hesitate to recommend MJJC products.

Review
When I was using my Karcher pressure washer, a low gallons per minute (1.35gpm) type, I swapped out the factory installed 1.25 orifice for the
included 1.1 orifice size, as it produces more foam with these types of basic pressure washers.
The smaller orifice size will increase the pressure and make the pressure washer work a bit harder, drawing more amperage from your
electrical circuit. I re-wired my garage to have 20amp circuits, which is best for pressure washing rather than standard 15amp service.
With the Karcher 2100ps I had no issues.
When upgrading to the Active 2.0 pressure washer, I have swapped back to the 1.25 orifice size as Active does not recommend anything smaller
than that otherwise you risk overworking their pressure washer pump.
As with the MJJC Foam Cannon S V3.0, the results you get from this foam cannon is unbelievable...thick, rich foam with long dwell time
giving you plenty of time to get around the vehicle and perform your contact wash without all the foam running completely off the vehicle.
This one is super stable due to its lower overall height and great balance.
It does not leak due to the two red rubber one way air valves embedded in the cap.

Review
This is the snow foam shampoo that MJJC has created to work ideally in their line of foam cannons.
It is available in 20 ounce (600ml) bottles as well as larger more cost conscious 64oz (half gallon) and 128oz (gallon) sizes.
Currently they offer it in two scents.
Testing the MJJC Snow Foam Shampoo in the Pro V3.0, S V3.0, and Pro V2.0 foam cannons confirmed its ability to produce thick,
rich foam with excellent cling, just as advertised. This pH-neutral formula is my go to choice for maintaining my Toyota 4Runner’s wax
coating, as it cleans effectively without stripping protective layers. After multiple washes, I’ve observed no compromise in shine or protection.

In conclusion, MJJC's foam cannons, the Foam Cannon Pro V3.0, Foam Cannon S V3.0 and Foam Cannon Pro V2.0, are standout products in the

I particularly appreciate the stainless steel and solid brass components, easy quarter turn lid connection fitting, and stability of

I highly recommended MJJC for top of the line, professional foam cannons. I cannot say that one of the three iterations
is a vast standout over the others. They all produce incredible quality snow foam. It will simply come down to a matter of preference for
which one you prefer. I particularly like the translucent silver bottle of the Pro 3.0 as well as the blue colorway of the S3.0.
Pro V3.0 bottle is 200ml larger allowing you to easily foam the wheelwells and the entire underbody after off-road or winter excursions.
Pro V3.0 bottle has the additional 28mm inside threads to allow for use with your own common size soap bottles.
Pro V2.0 bottle is probably the most durable but S V3.0 is the easiest to read measurements and see the liquid inside.
Pro V2.0 bottle has a larger mouth, but S V3.0 has the 1/4 quick turn feature.
Pro V2.0 bottle has a lower center of gravity and larger base, but S V3.0 happens to match my Blue pressure washer theme perfectly.
All use less soap than other cannons in order to get maximum foam production.
