Welcome to my review of MJJC Foam Cannons, where I will explore the features and performance of these top-tier tools for automotive detailing.
A foam cannon is an essential tool for automotive detailing, connecting to a pressure washer to produce thick, clinging snow foam.

Automotive detailing enthusiasts aim to touch the vehicle as little as possible to avoid marring or swirling the paint.

Detailers often prefer thick, sticky foam over wet, runny foam.
Thick foam clings to the vehicle's surface longer, allowing the cleaning agents more time to break down dirt and grime.

However, some detailers, even if to a lesser extent, prefer runny, wet foam because its heavier consistency can help drag dirt down off
the vehicle's body panels, aiding in the removal of contaminants without the need for scrubbing.
Foam Cannon Benefits:
Using a foam cannon in automotive detailing offers several benefits:

Two Process Types:
In automotive detailing there are two main types of foaming:
A) Pre-Rinsing with Foam:
Purpose: The goal of pre-rinsing with foam is to loosen and lift surface dirt and grime before the main wash. This step helps reduce the risk of scratching the paint during the wash process.
Foam Characteristics: For pre-rinsing, a foam that clings well to the surface is ideal. This allows the cleaning agents time to work on breaking down contaminants.
Soap Types: Use a foam-specific pre-wash or snow foam soap.
This can be either Acidic for removing mineral deposits, water spots, and brake dust OR Alkaline which is more effective for heavy-duty cleaning, such as removing grease, oil, road tar or film.
These are formulated to produce thick, clingy foam that effectively loosens dirt without necessarily providing a high level of lubrication needed for direct washing.
B) Washing with Foam:
Purpose: The main wash involves using foam to directly clean the vehicle's surface after the pre-rinse has removed the majority of loose contaminants.
Foam Characteristics: For washing, the foam should be both lubricating and effective at suspending and removing dirt.
Soap Types: Use a high-quality pH-Neutral car wash soap designed for use with foam cannons. These soaps create rich, lubricating foam that helps safely lift and remove dirt while washing, minimizing the risk of scratching and being gentle on waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings.

Note on Dilution Ratios
I always test each foam cannon to determine its unique actual dilution behavior and dial in the correct soap to water mixture for
my wash routine. For touchless style pre washes I typically target a 1.5% to 2.0% Panel Impact Ratio (PIR).
For standard weekly maintenance washes using pH neutral soaps I usually target 0.5% PIR.
PIR represents the actual soap concentration that reaches the vehicle surface after the foam cannon has diluted the solution.
This is the number that actually matters when evaluating how strong the soap mixture is during washing.
To determine a foam cannon’s native dilution rate, I fill the bottle with 1,000 ml of plain water and spray the entire contents into
a bucket while the pressure washer is running. I then measure the total volume in the bucket.
This allows me to calculate how much the cannon dilutes the solution during use and provides a reliable baseline for determining
how much soap is needed to reach a specific PIR.

This allows you to input your cannon fill volume and target PIR and it will calculate the proper soap and water amounts automatically.
It is important to note that a foam cannon’s native dilution can vary depending on incoming water pressure, electrical amperage,
pressure washer performance, and overall system setup. Because of this, testing each cannon individually provides the most consistent results.

Review
The new 2025 MJJC Pro V 3.0 premium foam cannon is hands down absolutly one of the best on the market currently,
not just in the high-end category but overall and combines the best features of their Pro 2.0 and their S V3.0 models!
The MJJC Pro V3.0 represents one of the most refined enthusiast level foam cannons currently available.
Build quality throughout the cannon is excellent with substantial weight, tight tolerances, and premium feeling materials.
The translucent bottle design is particularly attractive while also allowing easy visibility of remaining solution during use.
The wider bottle profile and stable base make filling and storage very convenient compared to many traditional cylindrical foam cannon bottles.
The all stainless steel manifold construction and extra 28mm threads inside the cannon head which allow for user supplied bottle use
are high end features most others do not feature.
What immediately stands out during use is the consistency and density of the foam produced.
The Pro V3.0 generates extremely thick, rich foam with excellent cling characteristics and long dwell time.
Foam remains stable on vertical surfaces significantly longer than most budget foam cannons tested,
allowing your cleaning solution additional time to break down contamination and avoiding drying in the sun before completing the contact wash process.
The upgraded 3pc foam generator design combined with the flexible silicone pickup tube and weighted stainless filter ball
contributes greatly to this performance and are now considered must have options.
The quick quarter turn bottle attachment system is one of the most practical improvements over older foam cannon designs.
Bottle removal and refilling is substantially faster while also reducing the possibility of cross threading.
The ability to utilize common 28mm bottle threads is another thoughtful feature for enthusiasts wanting alternate bottle options
or dedicated solutions for different chemicals such as wheel cleaners and touchless washes.
Testing on the Active 2.0 pressure washer platform showed excellent compatibility when utilizing the recommended 1.25mm orifice.
Foam production remained outstanding while amperage draw stayed within safe operating limits running at 13.60 amps and 1025 psi.
Runtime at 2 minutes and 6 seconds is considered very long for a 1000ml load and with this cannon you can increase that since
it allows for a 1,200ml load a 20% increase!

Maintenance
Rinse with clean water after each use to prevent soap buildup.
Check the weighted ball for clogs, if 5-10ml of liquid escapes when tightening the cap, this is due to air pressure and lets you know the filter is not clogged.
Store in a cool, dry place to maintain component integrity.

Review
As you will see in the video review at the very bottom of this page, the foam that this cannon produces is industry leading.
Very thick with long dwell time. The cannon is easy to fill with soap and water due to the large opening at the top.
The wide bases is very stable. It looks to be quite durable and is servicable with readily available parts.
The MJJC S V3.0 offers many of the same premium internal components and foam characteristics of the Pro V3.0 while utilizing a
slightly different bottle and body configuration. The blue and white color combination gives the cannon a very clean enthusiast oriented
appearance and matched exceptionally well with my existing pressure washing setup.
Performance during testing was genuinely outstanding. Foam output was extremely thick and consistent with excellent fan pattern control
and strong cling characteristics. The cannon produces the type of shaving cream style foam many enthusiasts seek while still maintaining
excellent lubrication during contact washing. Dwell time was among the best I have tested thus far.
One of the strongest aspects of the S V3.0 is ease of use. The bottle markings are very easy to read and highly accurate,
the bottle itself remains stable during filling, and the quick connect bottle attachment system works flawlessly.
The flexible silicone pickup tube and weighted filter ball maintain consistent solution pickup even while tilting the
cannon upward toward roofs and lower rocker panels, and especially when cleaning the underbody.
The cannon also benefits from broad pressure washer compatibility with numerous available fitting configurations.
This flexibility makes it an excellent choice for enthusiasts running everything from entry level electric pressure washers to more
advanced prosumer setups as well as locations from all over the world that have different standards.
Testing on the Active 2.0 pressure washer platform again showed excellent compatibility when utilizing the recommended 1.25mm orifice.
Foam production was incredible while amperage draw stayed within safe operating limits for a 15 amp circuit running at 14.10 amps and 1100 psi.
Runtime was clocked at 1 minute and 43 seconds allowing for complete large and SUV vehicle coverage including wheels.
Overall, the S V3.0 successfully combines premium foam performance, excellent ergonomics, and modern features into one of the most
complete foam cannons currently available.

Review
Although now superseded by newer MJJC models, the Pro V2.0 still remains an extremely capable foam cannon and continues to perform at a
very high level. In many ways this cannon established MJJC's reputation among automotive detailing enthusiasts due to its exceptional
foam production, durability, and innovative features at the time of release. I think it is still a great choice being the lowest priced of the three
and with its smaller overally height adding to stability.
Construction quality remains excellent with solid brass internals, durable bottle construction, and very good overall fit and finish.
Even after extended use, the cannon has remained reliable with no leakage or durability concerns noted during testing.
It does not leak due to the two red rubber one way air valves embedded in the cap.
Foam quality continues to be excellent even compared to many newer designs. Thick foam with long dwell time is easily achievable while
maintaining good fan spread consistency across the vehicle surface. The included alternate orifice nozzles also allow users to optimize
performance for different pressure washer platforms and flow rates.
While the newer V3 generation adds convenience improvements such as quarter turn bottle attachment and updated bottle designs,
the Pro V2.0 still delivers genuinely premium foam performance and remains highly competitive even today.
For many enthusiasts, especially those prioritizing stability and durability, the V2.0 continues to represent an excellent long term
foam cannon solution.
When I was using my Karcher pressure washer, a low gallons per minute (1.35gpm) type, I swapped out the factory installed 1.25 orifice for the
included 1.1 orifice size, as it produces more foam with these types of basic pressure washers.
The smaller orifice size will increase the pressure and make the pressure washer work a bit harder, drawing more amperage from your
electrical circuit. I re-wired my garage to have 20amp circuits, which is best for pressure washing rather than standard 15amp service.
With the Karcher 2100ps I had no issues.
When upgrading to the Active 2.0 pressure washer, I have swapped back to the 1.25 orifice size as Active does not recommend anything smaller
than that otherwise you risk overworking their pressure washer pump.
Testing with the Active 2.0 pressure washer using a 1.25mm orifice resulted in very safe operating range of 13.35 amps and 1000 psi.
Runtime came in at 1 minute and 48 seconds allowing for complete large and SUV vehicle coverage including wheels.

Review
This is the snow foam shampoo that MJJC has created to work ideally in their line of foam cannons.
It is available in 20 ounce (600ml) bottles as well as larger more cost conscious 64oz (half gallon) and 128oz (gallon) sizes.
Currently they offer it in two scents.
Testing the MJJC Snow Foam Shampoo in the Pro V3.0, S V3.0, and Pro V2.0 foam cannons confirmed its ability to produce thick,
rich foam with excellent cling, just as advertised. This pH-neutral formula is my go to choice for maintaining my Toyota 4Runner’s wax

In conclusion, and after extensive long term testing of the MJJC Pro V3.0, S V3.0, and Pro V2.0, it is easy to understand why MJJC has developed such a
strong reputation within the automotive detailing community. These foam cannons consistently produce some of the thickest and most stable
foam currently available while combining premium materials, thoughtful engineering, excellent ergonomics, and broad pressure washer compatibility.
What separates MJJC from many competing foam cannons is not simply foam thickness alone, but the complete user experience.
Features such as flexible silicone pickup tubes that come cut to the proper length, weighted stainless filter balls with
the most flexible of draw tubes for complete pick up at any angle, quick bottle attachment systems, excellent bottle stability,
